Rev. Collis Dell Sheffield III -- Rincon Georgia

Rev. Collis Dell Sheffield III, took his heavenly flight Monday December 7, 2015.

He was born in Savannah Georgia and had lived in Chatham and Effingham County all of his life. Dell served his country well in the US Navy and the US Coast Guard.

After leaving the military he became an ordained minister. He served in many areas of Ministry carrying the Word of God wherever he went; at the time of his death he was the Care Pastor at Grace Culture. A man of great faith who loved the Lord and was always their to minister to and help anyone in need. He always had a smile and loved to make people laugh, his favorite expression was "I love you and there ain't nothing you can do about it".

He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and step grandparents his mother Mona Jenkins, his father Collis D Sheffield Jr. and his sister Jennifer Sheffield

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his brothers, Scott Hammock (Amanda) of Guyton Georgia, Billy Sheffield "Kat" of Bloomingdale Georgia, Douglas Hammock of Rincon, Georgia and Dennis Hammock of Rincon Georgia; his Step-father, Bill Jenkins of Rincon Georgia; his step-mother, Beth Sheffield of Port Wentworth Georgia; niece, Grace Hammock, and nephew, Ethan Hammock both of Guyton Georgia many special aunts uncles and cousins and numerous friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday December 13 at Fairhaven Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday December 14 2015 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Eddie Tomberlin officiating.

Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery Glennville Georgia.
